  27. Your situations is rather familiar in Sheffield, but bot both Escom & Silica 
  28. have an A1200 in the shop, up & running!  Unfortunately only show a Workbench 
  29. (bland in Escoms case & a simple MagicWb in Silica's).  Well, having seen 
  30. that, I decided to make a compilation of demos for those shops.

  32. By now, I have an 880k disk 100 percent will some really nice demos and 2 good 
  33. `pictures` giving information about the Amiga (well done IMHO).  I've had A 
  34. LOT of response from my post (put in several Amiga newsgroups) about this.  
  35. Infact, about 25-30 requests in a few days!  I've emailed 20-odd people so far 
  36. back with the uuencoded disk (in either dms or lha format as asked), and will 
  37. be taking care of the rest soon.

  39. So far the response has been very positive! :))  When comments on the disk 
  40. have all come in (or v.soon anyway as I leave Uni. & thus the Net on the 9th 
  41. March for 5 weeks), I will be putting the finishing tweaks to the PAL (and 
  42. hopefully NTSC) demo disk compilation, and put it on the Aminet; oh, and try 
  43. to get those Sheffield shops to use it as well!

  47. about the 25-27th of Feb..  If your still interested, email me & I'll email 
  48. you back with the UUencoded disk.  In a few days though, I hope to get enough 
  49. comments to tweak the current version & upload it to Aminet!

  51. Somebody else is also working on a demo disk to show a *base* A1200 off, but 
  52. this will hopefully be on something like a CD (with some really nice pics, 
  53. Escom & Amiga logo `anim` - all done in Amos)....
